Western Electric Co. 1972 to 1976 Richmond VA.
Assigned to research and development engineering team responsible for
the development of automated production equipment. Assisted in
the development of several automated production machines. Also
project manager for the development of their first computer
control automated production robots in the plant. Reason for leaving: The break up of Bell
System made future uncertain.
Western Electric / Bell Telephone Labs 1968 to 1976
1968 to 1972 Bell Telephone Labs, Homdel N.J. Assigned to
research and development engineering team for the 2E and AIS telephone
switch. Personal Responsibilities included assembly language
programing of 2E and AIS switch. The switch was new and untested,
my job was to develop test software, debugging the software and
trouble-shooting hardware issues together for proper machine
operation.
